As an ode to the joyful spirit of bunnies roaming meadows, valleys, backyards, and gardens in the early spring, this illustration captures a wild bunch of carrots. Ever since finding a rabbit nest filled with baby bunnies (which my siblings and I each named Minnie, George, and Barbie — the last being courtesy of my sister, who was only three or four at the time, and obsessed with her dolls) under a shrub in our garden when I was little, I’ve always associated these sweet animals with the hope and renewal of spring.
Aside from folklore’s depiction of these happy orange root vegetables attracting the nibbles of garden creatures and backyard dwellers, this harvest and its abundant green top may find a perfect home in a kitchen, greenhouse, or gallery wall of your own.

This print is packaged with sustainability at the forefront, and I am always looking for more eco-friendly options! For protection, my artwork is sealed in an eco-friendly slip that has a similar appearance and feel to plastic, but is actually made from plant-based PLA and is compostable (it is not home compostable, however, it is the best I can currently find).
To ensure your artwork stays safe as it makes its way from you to me, it also rests against a white backing board made from 100% recycled fiber, 90% post-consumer waste materials, and is pH neutral. Aside from providing the print with additional support, it is also great for framing your artwork!
Tucked inside your package will be a few little notes made from 100% wildflower seed paper so you can start a small garden of your own. Plant them in ⅛ inch of soil, water thoroughly, and place in a sunny spot to grow a colourful bundle of wildflowers.
